Externships are only available to students currently enrolled and in good standing with an Accredited College of Veterinary Medicine. High School and Undergraduate students may apply for our Job Shadow Program.

Housing for Externship Students

At Countryside Veterinary Service we like to make our externship guests feel welcomed and at home. To ensure a stress-free experience for our visiting veterinary students, we offer FREE housing. Provided just 2 minutes down the road from our practice, is a fully furnished house available for our students to use when needed for externships.

This quaint and cozy house has a fully functional kitchen with a coffee bar, 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The house also features a desk for school work and note taking, a washer and dryer, smart TV, Wi-Fi, touchpad door locking system, driveway with a carport, and many other small touches to make you feel right at home.
